Bridgit’s Marketing Campaign Specialist was joined by Sandra Wood, Executive Director at the Canadian Kitchen Cabinet Association, and Corey Laurysen, Project Manager at Laurysen Kitchens. They discussed how Bridgit Field has made things easier for both PMs and subcontractors across the company to better communicate, and the overall experience with the platform. Here’s a sample of what was covered:
3 areas Bridgit Field helps kitchen cabinet manufacturers:
Inspections → standardizing your quality control process
Installations → single source of truth that project team and trades can reference
Maintenance/warranty → strong reporting
As a Bridgit customer, you’ll receive:
Quick, customized project set-up
Personalized training sessions
Dedicated (human) support representative
The Laurysen experience
When they’d first heard of us from another developer in the Ottawa area that was using our tool, the Laurysen team knew they could benefit. They reached out in June 2017, and in seeking a slower onboarding process, were fully using the tool by January 1, 2018. Before using Bridgit Field, they were using busy Excel sheets to record and distribute information about projects.
Now, their installers (who are subcontractors) are aware of issues before they even arrive at the site. They’re given updates about deficiencies and problems with inventory, amongst other things. The ability to create itemized lists makes things more concise and well timed.
