Kitchener construction tech firm Bridgit builds on its success with $9.4 million investment

A Kitchener-based construction technology firm plans to build on its success, having raised $9.4 million in its latest investment round.

The strategic investment in Bridgit, which specializes in construction workforce planning software, was led by American software firm Autodesk.

“It really is a stamp of approval from a company that has been in this space for much longer than we have, and the fact that they’re making a bet on us, I think, says a lot about the solution we’ve built and the value our customers are seeing,” said Mallorie Brodie, Bridgit’s chief executive officer and co-founder. “We always looked up to them as a company, and the fact that we’re now partners just feels like a huge accomplishment for our team.”
