Bridgit Recognized as One of Canada’s Top Growing Women-Led Companies by The Globe and Mail

TORONTO, Ontario, March 21, 2025 – Bridgit, the leader in construction workforce planning software for the construction industry, has been named to The Globe and Mail’s Report on Business inaugural listing of Canada’s Top Growing Women-Led Companies. This prestigious list celebrates female-led businesses that are shaping Canada’s economic landscape through innovation, leadership, and sustained growth.

Bridgit’s inclusion on the exclusive list recognizes its rapid revenue growth and continued success in delivering value to contractors. Co-founded by Mallorie Brodie and Lauren Lake in 2012, Bridgit has a deep footprint within the construction industry, including almost 40% of the ENR 400 and over half of the ENR Top 20, and enables customers like Gilbane, Skanska, and Alberici to streamline their operations, coordinate people and pursuit planning, and effectively manage labor costs.

Additionally, winners will be celebrated at the Women in Business Leadership Summit on April 8, 2025, an in-person event featuring panels and discussions with Canada’s top female business leaders.

Women entrepreneurs play a vital role in Canada’s economy, with women-owned businesses accounting for approximately 17.5% of private sector enterprises as of the second quarter of 2022.

The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor reports an upward trend in women’s startup and established business ownership over the past 25 years, indicating a global increase in female entrepreneurship.
