Bridgit Bench and Procore integration for general contractors

Bridgit Bench and Procore integration for general contractors

Looking to improve project management efficiencies and workflows, or level up your construction tech stack?

Bridgit’s Chief Revenue Officer, Sean Erjavec, had the chance to present alongside MyComply and Buildr during Procore’s Integrations for General Contractors webinar.

Below are some of the Bridgit Bench highlights from this webinar, along with the full recording:

Bridgit Bench for construction resource planning

Bridgit Bench is a cloud-based construction resource planning tool that was custom built for general contractors. Bridgit Bench replaces spreadsheets, internally built solutions, and whiteboards in order to eliminate fragmentation and manual processes. By doing so, it creates operational efficiency, mitigates risk for your team, and improves your organization’s bottom line.

With Bridgit Bench, general contractors can increase efficiency in their resource planning and manpower processes with:

  • APIs and integrations

  • Dashboards and reports

  • Over and under allocations

  • Project phases

  • Custom fields and configurations

  • Project and people GANTT and list views

  • Skills, experience, and availability matching

  • Forecasting and lookahead

Bridgit and Procore partnership

In October 2019, we officially announced our partnership with the launch of the Bridgit Bench and Procore embedded app. Soon after, our team headed to Phoenix, Arizona, where they exhibited as gold sponsors at Groundbreak. We saw the need to further increase operational efficiency for general contractors. In January 2020, we launched the Bridgit Bench and Procore integration.

Since then, we’ve seen an increase of general contractors licensing both Bridgit Bench and Procore – with 82% of our clients also being Procore clients.

COVID-19’s impact on construction resource planning

We’ve seen record usage of Bridgit Bench during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially with an increase of allocation changes to a person’s dates on a project:

General contractors have also increased their usage of Bridgit Bench in the following areas:

  • Use of custom fields

  • Forecasting beyond COVID-19

  • Allocating people to projects, or shifting allocations

  • Accessing their workforce plan from home (through web or mobile)

  • Shifting or delaying project dates

  • Shifting project phases

  • Changing user permissions to allow for more collaboration
