(View internal resume for every employee including previous employer experience)
Bridgit’s mission is simple: we help contractors reimagine talent management and modernize their people strategy. We recognize that maintaining accurate, up-to-date employee resume data—and automatically updating each individual’s experience as they gain it—is central to that vision.
In pursuit of this goal, we’re excited to introduce a powerful new capability in Bridgit: Internal Resumes. From visualizing certifications and career progress to leveraging every staff member’s expertise, this feature consolidates all of your employees’ experience—both before and after joining your organization—into one comprehensive view. By centralizing this data, contractors have an internal “LinkedIn”—including the granular details of every project a team member has been on—across your entire organization.
This data empowers Bridgit customers to answer strategic questions that were previously difficult to answer such as: Who in our company has experience with this project type, delivery method, or this specific owner? What team members would make the most compelling team to win the job? Do we have the required experience to bid on this project?
By maintaining a comprehensive view of all internal resumes, updated automatically for you, Bridgit customers can answer these types of questions faster and more efficiently than ever before.
Customers are already seeing massive advantages from using the Internal Resume capability:
“With Bridgit Internal Resumes, we’ve gained a deeper understanding of our workforce. By aligning our employees’ skills and experience with the right projects, we’re not only improving project outcomes but also creating a more engaging environment that has noticeably boosted team morale and retention.”
Leon Nelson, Vice President at Big D Construction.
Customers can track employee experience across any number of customizable categories, and we’re already seeing strong correlations among accounts tracking market sector, region, delivery method, client, and build type. Having this data at your fingertips empowers multiple departments: Operations can pinpoint the right person for every job and build high-performing teams, Marketing can craft compelling team stories for bid packages, and—looking ahead—HR can harness these insights to retain top talent.

Furthermore, customers are able to bulk import historical project experience or experience gained prior to joining your organization—and clearly see where their experience was gained. And because Bridgit has an OpenAPI with over 25 off the shelf integrations you can easily bring information in from key services.

Other New Capabilities
Bridgit’s Roles page has undergone a significant facelift, enabling you to plan projects directly from one central hub. This update includes the highly requested ability to add new roles right on the Roles page—eliminating the need to jump into individual projects—as well as drag-and-drop functionality to fill open positions for both hourly and salaried positions. You can now quickly create self-perform roles and assign the right people, aided by real-time availability indicators (green, orange, or black). We’ve also updated the project details to display color, status, and dates for added context, and introduced group-based filtering to streamline the overall experience.

Additional UX Enhancements
- Tag colours, primarily used for displaying Certifications, have been updated to be more subtle, allowing them to blend seamlessly with other elements in the product.
- The ‘Add to project’ menu, displayed on the Profile, now includes coloured project chips and displays each project’s status and dates.
- The Project Name Filter (a multi-select list) now clearly shows selected options, aligns with other multi-select filters, and features checkboxes to the left of labels— a change applied across Bridgit for a better user experience.
- A character counter has been added to the project description field on the add experience modal, aligning its UX with the project description editing in the experience table.
- When a user is updating a text field experience value from the experience table, a dropdown appears that displays all values that have been used for this field.
