The Bridgit team headed into the 2018 holiday season with a new office space. We’re now just steps away from all of the Downtown Kitchener hot spots, coffee shops, the Via Rail transit hub and two ION LRT stops. In February, we welcomed about 150 of our family and friends to celebrate this new beginning with an office warming party. Although the space is 5,600 square feet, it still feels inviting and cozy.

Exploring the layout of the new office

Our new home-away-from-home is modern, bright, and open. A lot of thought was put into the overall design of the space, as well as how to accessorize it. Rich tones and textures are in effect throughout and plants serve as accent pieces to liven up the corners.

Despite the open concept of the office, we still have demarcated spaces to cater to everyone’s styles of working. There are individual call rooms and larger meeting rooms that can be booked out. They provide a border for several open table areas, couches, a reading area, and a gorgeous kitchen that houses even more seating.

“There was an opportunity to create an environment that reflected the Bridgit culture, and would be comfortable for our team. We focused on bringing in lots of art and plants to create a space that has the same energy as a café, with the functionality and durability that an office requires. We drew on Bridgit’s history by naming all of our meeting rooms after streets we’ve had offices on – including the very first basement apartment on King St. in Kitchener.”

Celebrating a new beginning with big goals
