Bridgit Bench now trusted by over 100 top ENR general contractors

Bridgit Bench now trusted by over 100 top ENR general contractors

This year at Bridgit, we set the lofty goal of having over 100 top general contractors using our software. Ten months into 2022,  leading contractors are seeing the value of Bridgit Bench faster than we anticipated.

It’s official – over 100 of the ENR Top 400 general contractors now trust Bridgit Bench for their workforce planning.

How did we get here?

Behind the work and research that goes into making Bridgit Bench the tool it is are two simple concepts:

  1. We put our customers’ problems first. Always.
  2. Listen. Adapt. Deliver.

Bridgit was founded to put construction problems on a pedestal and work backwards to create meaningful solutions for our customers. Being the leader in construction workforce planning is the output, but listening to (and doing everything we can to solve) our customers’ problems is how we got here.

In 2019 we launched Bridgit Bench and after months of interviews with operations teams big and small, we could see the frustration brought on by the confines of manual, spreadsheet-based workforce planning. We knew we could create a better solution. More importantly, we knew we could create a better process, and with feedback from our customers, we’ve created the first complete workforce planning solution built specifically to help manage the complexity of construction workforce planning.

This year, we’ve released over 50 new features based on direct feedback from our amazing customers.

“Bridgit has been a breath of fresh air. We throw out an idea for them and six months later they’re telling us, ‘Here it is.’ It’s just been wonderful how great and supportive Bridgit has been compared to some of the other software out there.”

Jamie Miller, Director of Engineering Development at Sellen Construction

The rundown

In the three short years since launching Bridgit Bench:

  • Over 30,000 projects have been tracked
  • Over 3,200 new users have been added
  • Over 36,000 people are being tracked
  • Customers have saved an average of 8 hours/week on workforce planning

“Our overall experience with Bridgit Bench thus far has been great, it has saved us hundreds of hours each month tracking our resources on projects.”

Justin Cook, Project Manager at Fortis Construction Inc.

We’re not done yet – not even close

Bridgit Bench was built to help track, and forecast a general contractor’s professional staff, but we’re using our tremendous growth and momentum to expand in a couple of exciting ways.

  1. Workforce planning for hourly teams

Including hourly staff in Bridgit Bench will help contractors of any kind to centralize their entire workforce strategy. All your people, all your projects, all in one tool. That means all the benefits of Bridgit Bench will be more accessible to self-performing GCs, subcontractors, and specialty contractors. We’ve already started rolling out the new functionality.

Combining salaried and hourly staffing in one tool makes Bridgit Bench the first end-to-end, complete workforce planning software and we couldn’t be more thrilled to continue working with our customers to develop product features that suit their needs.

Bridgit Bench Hourly
  1. Bridgit goes abroad

With over 100 top ENR customers proving the value of Bridgit Bench, we’re taking our talents to new places, helping contractors overseas with their workforce planning process. Throughout the next year, we’ll be expanding our target market to include contractors across Australia.

“At Bridgit, we’re always excited to take on new challenges. By adding new functionality for hourly staffing and expanding into new markets, we’re setting ourselves up for an exciting year ahead. Our team is passionate about solving industry problems and is confident we’ll repeat the success of Bridgit Bench with hourly staffing and workforce planning overseas.”
